ATP Ho'olaule'a theme is:

Unity. Future. Legacy. These were the guiding words that shaped our theme and this year’s logo design.

I reflected on how and why Ke Ali‘i Pauahi decided to leave such a profound legacy for us. I imagined her sitting by a window, looking through a telescope as she gazed over her lands—happily watching the keiki at play, yet witnessing her community in decline. I envisioned that her vision began this way: by observing her surroundings and discerning what was important. This year's design draws inspiration from that imagined scene and her symbolic

telescope. The design depicts the lens of the telescope, as if she’s looking right at you.

The gold outer ring represents the brass it would have been made from. Within it are concentric circles that mimic the extendible segments of a telescope. These circles represent Unity and community as we gather together, reflecting our student body’s shared mindset. In the center, we honor the 100th celebration of Ho‘olaule‘a. At the center top is a single lokelani blossom, representing Ke Ali‘i Pauahi, as it was her favorite flower. The outermost ring, filled with sprawling foliage and flowers, represents the Future as we grow together and work toward the next 100 years.

Lastly, at the top of the outer ring, is a golden crown—not Pauahi’s crown, but one belonging to the King of Kings, Ke Akua. I like to believe He gave Pauahi her vision, a vision to which she dedicated her life. It is from this vision that her Legacy was born, and it is that Legacy that continues within all of us.
